STEVE CARGILL
In short - a character!
Steve began dabbling in magic at the early age of six, learning everything he could from every available book. He continued learning and practicing throughout his school years, up until the day he received a draft notice from the US Army.
During his tour of duty in Europe Steve used his knowledge and talent to entertain at almost every Army Post, Air Force Base, and Naval Base in the area. After his tour of duty, he stayed in Europe touring and performing his magic in six countries and working cruise ships from Italy to Athens Greece
After five years overseas Steve returned home and performed his miracles in most major cities in the US. Though his lectures were few, his ideas in magic were different in the handling and patter that had entertained thousands.
Steve Remembers meeting many of the greats in magic; one in particular was Heba Haba Al, the inventor of "The Card Under The Drink". Steve worked with Al at the "Pickle Barrel North" in the early seventies. After performing at the "New Yorker Lounge", Northwestern University and a few other colleges, Steve's career as a traveling magician was coming to an end, at an early age.
Steve moved to Largo Florida and performed for a while in such places as the "Columbia Restaurant", Innisbrook Resort, "The Playboy Club, various yacht clubs, etc.
During his career Steve has performed on national TV on ABC and NBC and has helped local stations with promotions.
Steve still resides in Largo Florida and has owned his magic shop "The Trick Shop" since 1981. Steve demonstrates the "goods" and sells his original ideas in the form of packet tricks and books. You know his ideas are good when others copy them with only minor changes. This is the first opportunity for the masses to get a chance to experience his great magic. At 50 plus years old Steve, by doing his style of magic, still fools the heck out of amateurs and professionals as well as his many audiences!
